Dr. Joseph F. Buell is a Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics, and the Director of the Tulane Transplant Abdominal Institute at Tulane University and LSU. He holds a PhD in Medicine and Dentistry from the University of Rochester (1991) and has been recognized with over ten awards in General Surgery. He practices at 130 Lakeview Circle, Covington, and is affiliated with Tulane Medical Center and other hospitals. His clinical interests include drug and medical device development, clinical immunology, and stem cell technology. Dr. Buell completed his internship at the University of Maryland Medical System and fellowships in surgical oncology at the NIH and multi-organ transplant surgery at the University of Chicago. His accolades include the Eagle Scout Award (1982), Dean’s Academic List, Summa Cum Laude honors from Fordham University, and membership in Alpha Sigma Nu. He has over 179 publications and 525 international presentations.

Dr. Erind Ruka is an Italian-Albanian plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon. After completing his surgical training at the University of Turin in Italy, he has worked across various European countries and in multiple plastic surgery departments. His primary areas of expertise include facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, breast aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, wound repair, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Ruka has authored and co-authored numerous papers in both national and international scientific journals and serves as a reviewer for several plastic surgery publications.

Dr. Aaron Tan is a researcher at University College London (UCL) Medical School and a visiting scholar at the Biomaterials and Advanced Drug Delivery Laboratory (BioADD) at Stanford University. He earned his BSc in Surgical Sciences from UCL in 2011 and his PhD in Surgery and Bioengineering from UCL in 2014. Dr. Tan is currently completing the clinical years of his MBBS Medicine degree at UCL Medical School. He has held research positions at leading institutions, including Harvard University, the University of Oxford, and Imperial College London. Dr. Tan has authored over 40 publications in PubMed-indexed journals, with articles featured in high-impact journals such as ACS Nano, Trends in Biotechnology, and Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews. He has received 1090 citations and has an h-index of 16. Dr. Tan serves as a Guest Editor for Frontiers in Pharmacology and Nano Reviews and Experiments. His research focuses on nanotechnology and regenerative therapeutics in clinical medicine and surgery.

Since becoming the project leader for Organ Modeling at the Department of Biotechnology, Technische Universität Berlin in 2006, Gerd Lindner has co-founded two biotechnology companies: Tissues GmbH in 2010 and provio GmbH in 2014, where he serves as CEO. Dr. Lindner holds a degree in biochemistry and specializes in hair disorders and the science of stem cells in the skin and other organs. Recently, he successfully cultured a fully in vitro human hair follicle equivalent for substance testing and integration into skin models. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on hair and skin biology, serves on editorial boards for various journals, and is an active member of several esteemed scientific societies

Dr. Kayvan Fathimani is a highly distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, notable for being quadruple board certified. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada, and holds fellowships with the International Board of Certification of Specialists in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Fathimani is a Level 1 Trauma Surgeon and Faculty Instructor at Lincoln Medical Center, an Attending Surgeon and Faculty Instructor at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. He also serves as a Facial Trauma Surgeon at Lutheran Medical Center. Specializing in Maxillofacial Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery, he is recognized for his expertise in complex facial injuries and surgeries. Dr. Fathimani also manages a private practice in New York City and is active in post-graduate training and clinical research. His expertise includes Facial Trauma, Corrective Jaw Surgery, Wisdom Teeth Removal, Dental Implants, General Anesthesia, Temporomandibular Joint Surgery, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Oral Pathology, and Cleft Lip and Palate Repair.

Rahena Akhter joined the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences at Charles Sturt University in 2012 as a teaching and research academic. She currently coordinates several dental courses, including "Dental Clinical Practice 2A and 2B (Periodontology and Simple Restorative Dentistry)," and serves as the Year Coordinator for second-year dental undergraduate students. Since 2012, she has also been an honorary lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Sydney, Australia. Fully registered as a dental practitioner with APHRA in NSW since 2013, Dr. Akhter specializes in orofacial pain, having completed her training at the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Sydney. In January 2014, she established a pain clinic at CSU Orange, which supports clinical research focused on the needs of rural and regional patients. She has also earned the FRACDS (pril.) from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Additionally, Dr. Akhter was awarded the prestigious Japan Government Monbusho PhD Scholarship and completed her PhD at Hokkaido University, Japan.

Ehab Abdel Aziz Ahmed EL-Shaarawy is a Professor of Anatomy and Embryology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He holds an M.B.B.Ch. in General Medicine and Surgery from Kasr Alainy Medical School, Cairo University, as well as Master’s and MD degrees in Anatomy and Embryology from the same institution. He also has a B.Ch. in Anatomy and Physiology. Dr. EL-Shaarawy has authored numerous scientific papers published in both national and international journals. His practical expertise spans various diagnostic techniques in radiographic and endoscopic anatomy and experimental embryology, with a particular focus on ocular studies. He has organized and participated in numerous scientific training courses and workshops related to Human Histology, Anatomy, and Developmental Biology. Additionally, he has been involved in national conferences on Anatomy, Molecular Biology, and Electron Microscopy. He is an active member of several scientific and medical societies, supervises numerous MD and Master’s theses, and serves as a reviewer for various scientific journals
